Gameloft has done a pretty good job creating the asphalt series but frustratingly the games of the series are too identical to each other. Good graphics and gameplay makes this game attractive but hardcore gamers will not enjoy racer as gameloft made the game for casual gamers. Of course, for hardcore gamers gameloft has GT racing to offer. No on-screen trackmap is also frustrating. Multiplayer mode also available. With so much racing game available for iPhone, Asphalt 6 shouldn’t be your first choice, but yes, if you want pure fun, grab it.

4. Raging Thunder 2

 

This arcade racer is much similar to gameloft’s Asphalt series. The game primarily focuses on pace and destruction by overtaking or tackling opponents. Auto- acceleration is one of the best among all iphone racing games. 3d Graphics is a little cartoony compared to other racing games but won’t let you down as a arcade racer. Gameplay is very engaging and on-screen trackmap is available means it has an edge over Asphalt 6. Polarbit’s Raging thunder is a great entertainment like asphalt but again, NOT FOR HARDCORE GAMERS. Several track locations like tropical beaches, snow-covered mountains, the Great Wall are great. Multiplayer mode is also nice and single player offers five different types of game modes. Overall, this game is a great arcade racer.

3.Need For Speed : Hot Pursuit

 

Electronic Art presents Need For Speed : Hot pursuit as a classic police-chased racing game. The game offers a great racing experience. You can only play as a cop and you’ll have weapons like EMP, roadblock, spike strips which you have to use to catch illegal racers. Unlike the original console version, you can’t play as a illegal racer. The gameplay is not easy as you will need time to master it but once you master it, it will blow you out. The game is too fast-paced and challenging and is the ultimate game for any racing game lovers. Of course, NFS : Shift is still a great game but hot pursuot is a racing game which gives you different taste than most other racing games available for iPhone. Remember it does not offer online multiplayer which is a major turn-off.

Decent Racing Game from gameloft with detailed graphics, impressive number of licensed cars and addictive carrer mode. There are 25 manufacturers and 107 licensed cars to buy, drive and upgrade inside the game which features some of popular cars like Nissan GT-R, Audi R8. A wide variety of tracks are also available which are very detailed and different from each other. Gameplay is very good. You can tell the difference as you switch cars as no two cars give the same gameplay experience unlike most of the racing games in the market today. Sound is not the best but not bad either although you can replace the in-game music with your own playlist. The multiplayer mode is also available giving you the ability to play online which supports up to 6 players at the same track.

Now the number one spot of the best iPhone racing game of all-time goes to none other than Real Racing 2 . Let’s be honest here, if you want only one racing game, go for Real racing 2. It offers the best gameplay, awesome graphics(of course the best among all the racing games) and the best multiplayer experience. It takes the full advantage of Retina display with it’s stunning visual. The cars are amazingly perfect, the tracks are longer and tougher. you’ll enjoy every second of this game.
